Italian baritone Enrico Maria Marabelli completed his vocal training at the Conservatorio di Como, where he made his opera debut as Ford in Verdi’s »Falstaff«. He has performed on the stages of the world’s leading opera houses across Europe and Asia. He has worked under the baton of conductors such as Bruno Campanella, Nicola Luisotti, Zubin Mehta, Enrique Mazzola, Kazushi Ono, Daniel Oren, and Alberto Zedda. Throughout his successful career, Marabelli has sung roles in »Don Giovanni«, »La forza del destino«, »Die Zauberflöte«, »La Bohème«, and many other operas. His most recent engagements include the title role in Puccini’s »Gianni Schicchi« and Donizetti’s »Anna Bolena« in Hong Kong, Bartolo in Rossini’s »Il barbiere di Siviglia« at the Cologne Opera and the Semperoper in Dresden, and Dandini in Rossini’s »La cenerentola« at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège. Enrico Marabelli is the winner of the AsLiCo International Singing Competition.
