Male soprano Bruno de Sá attracted national attention in Brazil for his remarkable vocal range and stage presence in leading Mozart, Britten and Puccini roles at São Paulo´s Teatro São Pedro. He made his European debut in 2019 at the Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival and rapidly established himself internationally as one of the most distinctive voices of his generation. Soon after he joined the young artist programme of Theater Basel, his engagements have taken him to venues including the Musiikkitalo Helsinki, the Theater an der Wien, the Opéra de Montpellier, as well as the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival and the Salzburg Festival. Beyond the opera stage, Bruno de Sá has become a sought-after concert soloist, performing across Europe with ensembles such as Il Pomo d’Oro, Les Accents, and Ensemble 1700. De Sá has received the OPER! Award 2020, the Forum Opéra Trophée 2022 and the Austrian Music Theatre Prize. His solo albums »Roma Travestita« and »Mille Affetti« have been performed with great success in major venues from Versailles to São Paulo.
