Italian-Russian soprano Marina Zyatkova is the First Prize winner of the Concours International d´Opéra de Marseille in 2005 and the Grand Prix Concours d´Art Lyrique in Strasbourg in 2007. As a Member of the Opera Studio Nederland in Amsterdam, she performed in roles such as Mademoiselle Silberklang in »The Impresario«, Adele in »Die Fledermaus«, and Pamina in »The Magic Flute«, among others, under the direction of Harry Kupfer. She made her debut as Giannetta in »L’elisir d’amore« at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, followed by her interpretation of the Golden Deer in »Ayodhya«, a role specifically written for her by the renowned Thai composer Somtow Sucharitkul. She achieved great success as Musetta in Puccini’s »La Bohème« and as Grilletta in Haydn’s opera »Lo Speziale« at esteemed European opera houses. Zyatkova has worked with notable conductors such as Zubin Mehta and Jan Willem de Vriend, as well as directors like Willy Decker, Eva Buchmann, and David Livermore. Her concert repertoire includes Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, Mozart’s Requiem, and Dvořák’s Stabat Mater.
